Our Commitment to Environmentally Responsible Dentistry

At White Dental Studio, we have always tried to make choices that support both quality dental care and responsible environmental practices. Much of this has come from looking closely at our everyday routines and finding practical ways to reduce waste and work more efficiently.

With the help of our environmental design team, our practice earned recognition as the first Gold Certified Green Dental Practice in Southern Oregon and the second in the state. Reaching this level required careful planning, thoughtful material choices, and a willingness to update long-standing processes within a healthcare setting. We are proud to bring eco-conscious dentistry to the Rogue Valley and continue to build on that commitment.

A significant part of our progress has come from moving to digital systems. Digital X-rays, digital scanners, and electronic records greatly reduce the need for paper, film, and chemicals while allowing us to work with greater accuracy.

We also pay close attention to the products and equipment used throughout the office. Choosing energy-efficient options, limiting disposable items when it is safe to do so, and selecting materials that can be reused or recycled helps us lessen our impact.

Air quality is another priority. Our filtration systems are maintained regularly to keep treatment rooms clean, fresh, and aligned with current safety standards.

This work is ongoing. We continue looking for practical improvements that allow us to operate responsibly while providing the level of care our patients expect.
